公開シンポジウム「翻訳・通訳サービスラーニングの展望」

【RiCoLaS 10周年記念シンポジウム】
2016年４月に立教GPの支援を受け始動した翻訳・通訳のサービスラーニング・プログラム「RiCoLaS（立教コミュニティ翻訳通訳）」は、2018年４月から異文化コミュニケーション学部が運営し、翻訳・通訳を学ぶ同学部生・大学院生に体験学習の機会を与え、学内外のクライアントに幅広い翻訳・通訳サービスを提供してきた。10周年を迎えた今年、RiCoLaSのこれまでの歩みを振り返り、翻訳者・通訳者養成におけるサービスラーニングの意義、理念、方法について再検討する場として、本シンポジウムを開催する。RiCoLaS卒業生、クライアント、指導教員による座談会のほか、香港バプティスト大学のジャニス・パン教授およびポルトガル・カトリック大学のジョアオ・ボロゲラ博士による翻訳サービスラーニングの事例報告を含めたプログラムとなっており、翻訳通訳教育、サービスラーニング、キャリアとしての翻訳・通訳などに関心を持つ幅広い人々の参加を促す場としたい。

ポルトガル・カトリック大学 招聘助教 、通訳・翻訳研究センター研究員
João Brogueira 氏
PhD in Humanistic Studies, specializing in Translation. He is Invited Assistant Professor at Universidade Católica Portuguesa and a Researcher at the Research Centre for Communication and Culture. His research interests focus on Human-centered Translation Technologies, Translation Skills and Language Learning. Translator since 1997, he has translated and edited extensively for the bodies of the European Union, he has participated in the localization programs of major US technology firms in different roles, and he has translated dozens of titles for the German publishing house Taschen. He currently works for major investment fund managers, and he leads the European Portuguese team for Apple at Locteam.

Janice Pan 氏
The Department of Translation, Interpreting and Intercultural Studies and Director of the Centre for Translation at Hong Kong Baptist University. Her research interests include corpus-based translation/interpreting studies, political discourse and translation/interpreting, digital humanities, learner factors & situated learning in interpreter training, bibliometric research in translation/interpreting studies, and professionalism in translation/interpreting. She currently serves as President of the Hong Kong Translation Society and is the founder of Enter-Link, an R&D entity based at the Hong Kong Science Park.
