公開シンポジウム「Aerial Archives Studies（航空アーカイヴ研究）」
INFORMATION
二〇世紀の航空科学が可能にした地上から宙空への転回は、地球（惑星）や人種やホモサピエンスの位置付けを変えた。本シンポジウムは、そのパラダイム・シフトを記録するテクスト集合体（文学・写真・フィルム・ゲーム等）を「航空アーカイヴ」と名付け、アメリカ研究に新たな研究領域を拓くものである。

Katherine Chandler（キャサリン・チャンドラー） 氏
カリフォルニア大学バークレー校でPh.D.を取得。専門はメディア、テクノロジーと政治学。著書に、Unmanning: How Humans, Machines and Media Perform Drone Warfare (Rutgers University Press, 2020)がある。
Associate Professor at the School of Foreign Service, Georgetown University, and the Director of Culture and Politics within the School of Foreign Service. She received her Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley. Her research focuses on the intersection of media, technology, and politics. She is the author of Unmanning: How Humans, Machines and Media Perform Drone Warfare (Rutgers University Press, 2020).

阿部 幸大（あべ こうだい） 氏
専門は日米文化史。2023年にニューヨーク州立大学でPhD取得。著書に『まったく新しいアカデミック・ライティングの教科書』（光文社、2024年）、『ナラティヴの被害学』（文学通信、2025年）。現在、Afro-Asian Antagonism and the Long Cold War（仮題）を刊行準備中。
